Visit California's Dream Big global campaign is a celebration of the anything’s-possible attitude and reality of California. To inspire people to start dreaming up their own Golden State vacations, we created Dream365, a digital destination that told the incredible stories of real California dreamers.
I knew of a lesser known, (literal) underground dreamer who resided in the same place I went to college and lead the charge in introducing future CA visitors to Baldassare Forestier. An Italian immigrant who moved to Fresno hoping to strike it rich in the citrus business, Forestier instead created an oasis worthy of adding to your California bucket lists.
